She set out to improve the world by following her father’s path, but her journey demanded she become a warrior whose skills are designed to best the most dangerous people in the world. If I squint, I can convince myself that she is a reluctant hero. But it’s clear from dialog sections, plot devices and flashbacks that she is also driven by personal ambition, and a desire to be as great an archaeologist as her dead father.
